As our new genre is R&B/Soul I have researched some of the characteristics of this genre and found out that most artists edit the footage according to the ambience they are trying to create through the music, this way the visuals complement the audio and there is harmony throughout the music video. The general theme of soul music is to go with warm neutral tones that make the audience feel a connection to the music or black and white visuals that focus your attention on the song.
Personally, I like the black and white effect in Yuna's music video because it introduces a subtle vintage aesthetic which effectively establishes the mood of the song. This is something I hope to achieve in our music video.
I have started to play around with the image settings on iMovie to find the right tone that fits the mood of our song, 'I Need A Dollar'.

I feel like the 1st style matches our Soul genre more because of the warm tones.
