Amber Run - I Found

This music video subverts the culture of indie rock artists doing performance videos, by producing a strong narrative piece without any lip-synching. I like the fact that the video is constructed as a legitimate film or tv production with distinct establishing shots at the beginning, a clear storyline that connects with audiences and a gripping cliffhanger: 'To be continued'. In line with Goodwin's Theory there is a faint connection between the lyrics and the visuals as the lines 'I found love where it wasn't supposed to be' refers to the younger male in the video who helps her, this grabs the attention of the audience and causes them to focus more on the narrative.
